Whether you’re packing your bags for three days of techno at Movement Detroit, or gearing up for a smaller festival experience at Elements and Members Campout in pennsylvania, we’ve got your party planning sorted!
Hideaway’ EP by Barcelona producer Pablo Bolivar has been enjoying some pretty high rotation amongst the Fiction crew over the last couple of months.
Urban Homes — Tropical Jam (Map.ache Remix)
You know the feeling when, on a warm sunny spring day, you wake up rested and full of energy, shuffle lazily towards a window, open it and a gentle gust of warm wind swirls into your room and whispers "hello!"...and suddenly you just want to dance, dance, dance and embrace the world.
Here are the 20 mixes we enjoy the most in April. From ambient to peak time techno and everything in between. Prepare yourself for a beautiful journey.
Spring has sprung and along with it a cavalcade of fantastic releases from Denis Horvat, Olderic, Rampa, Laurent Garnier, SBTH, Hammer, Benjamin Fröhlich, Patrice Bäumel, Abstraxion & Kasper Bjørke.
SBTH - Moritzplatz (Jupiter Mix)
SBTH is the musical partnership of Lossless label founders, Thomas Herb and Mathias Schober (also know as Show-B or SB). The duo debuted under their SBTH moniker last year on their own label with the impressive re-edit of King Britt’s 2002 house classic ‘Uzomaka’ and innovative exploration of avant-garde groovy and melodic deep house magi
Chris Luzz is one of a handful of super talented DJs and producers commandeering the New York underground nightlife scene. Currently co-label head at Little Giant with Anna Cavazos, Luzz is on the brink of releasing his solo EP in time for the North American summer. With heavyweights such as Jamie Jones, Maya Jane Coles, and Joris Voorn all counting themselves as fans, Luzz is a name you should familiarize yourself with

Creative Belfast producer Lunar Orbit Rendevouz or simply LOR is a name we’ll be watching closely throughout 2017. Equally focused on twisted grooves and intricate melodic structures, the versatile producer has been consistently stamping his authority on underground electronic music with his multiple perspectives on sound, and his innovative approach to production.
Mathew Jonson & Sebastian Mullaert - Pollen 4 Life
Sebastian Mullaert has yet to meet a long production he doesn't like. His tracks often clock over ten minutes: an eternity in the ADHD world of dance music and a great way to ensure that your track is labeled "unusable" by an average DJ. But then again, when one is talking about Sebastian Mullaert one is rarely talking about anything average.
After hosting Nuno Dos Santos and his label showcase Something Happening Somewhere North America premiere in Brooklyn last week, we were absolutely thrilled to get our hands on a preview copy of his stunning new EP. ’Trigonometry of Love’ is set to be released on March 24th and features four incredible tracks.
Being a driving force in the electronic music scene for more than a decade Something Happening Something (short: SoHaSo) label head Nuno Dos Sontos has built up quite a reputation for himself with releases and remixes on labels such as Kompakt, Compost or SohaSo. With a new EP called ‘Trigonometry of Love‘ in the pipe and his return to Brooklyn for the first SoHaSo label showcase presented by Fiction, Nuno took his time to give us a detailed insight of the past and present of the label as well as personal preferences

In a collaboration with our friends with our friends from Torture The Artist we sat down with one of our favorite producers, Love Over Entropy who will have his US debut at our upcoming party - SoHaSo showcase on March 11th.
New Jackson - Electric Blue
After a blazing 2016, Fort Romeau and Ali Tillett’s Cin Cin label kicked off the new year with its flame burning bright. The spritely taste-making label exploded onto the scene last year with a philosophy of bringing established and new artists together on split EP format releases.
Joakim - On The Beach (Superpitcher Remix)
Through a small window cracked open, a sliver of gray gloomy sky is seeping through, illuminating a man, sprawled out on his bed, asleep but tossing and turning as about to wake up.
A few weeks ago our friends from Torture the Artist made this impressive interview with the man of the moment - Hyenah. We have the honor to host Hyenah this Friday 02/17/17 at the most popular club in Brooklyn, House of Yes. Grab your tickets here
We continue with the same pace in the new year. 20 carefully picked mixes from super talented DJ's from around the world.
If we can take anything away from 2016, is that it was a pretty awesome year for music. A lot of very talented producers really accelerated their careers and put out some amazing releases, EP’s and took on some seriously hectic touring schedules around the globe. Things look to only be speeding up these producers of deep house and techno and we couldn’t be more excited to see the journey they take us on in 2017.
The new year has brought so many fresh albums, exciting releases, and impressive remixes that cover a wide range of underground house and techno music.
With such considerable experience, it’s no surprise that Naveen G has opened for many of the top DJs in the music scene today, including Ame, Dixon, Tale of Us, Mano Le Tough, to name just a few.
From time to time, you hear an EP and instantly can sense that it’s going to be significant. Sad Girl, a relative newcomer, has been kind enough to bestow one upon us.
In already impressive catalog of exceptional mixes of 2016, a month of December added some magnificent music tales, that will be played long after December of 2016. As usual, we carefully picked 20 that we enjoyed the most.
The month of December is full of divine moments of mesmerizing sonic beauty, working its magic on all of the stunning releases, exciting remixes and amazing albums of the electronic music.
As another year comes to a close it’s time to look back at some of the finest tracks of 2016. This has been one of the most innovative years of underground electronic dance music, with a treasure-trove of productions that radiate with powerful musical elegance, boundless creativity, and infinite inspiration from both established artists, and new talent from around the world.
Music is not just an auditory experience. It is a multi-sensory affair which triggers all kinds of feelings and emotions throughout the body and the mind. When listening to music, we want to feel a certain way, to be transported to an entirely different place, and an album’s sleeve, can help to do that
